The Role:

HMC Group Solutions is looking for a Business Development Officer to join our rapidly expanding safety & training organisation.

Reporting directly to the Training Coordinator, the successful candidate will be given the opportunity to work closely with potential students and clientele. This is a business development role but it will also incorporate:

• Facilitating the delivery of marketing and business development initiative implementation activities
• Conduct background research on key sectors and target clients
• Assist with the preparation of materials to support winning work
• Administration support opportunities 
• Delivering total business solutions to our clients.

The successful candidate must be passionate about sales and building relationships with potential and existing clients.

It is required that you have:

• Computer and phone skills (Apple platform experience an advantage)
• A strong relationship building element
• Proven ability to think ahead, understand and manage priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail
• Great phone ettiequte 
• Previous experience in a sales orientated role
• Problem solving skills 
• Professional and commercial approach to business, with ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Minimum 'C' Class - Provisional Drivers Licence
• A Working With Children & Police Checks
